abandoned beach

cape hillsborough near the mackay area of queensland. i remember a bit of uphill hiking, and stumbling upon a bat cave. then there was a long trek through a forest. when we emerged from the forest, we came upon a long stretch of abandoned beach. (above photo).

abandoned beach

we swam naked and had sex on this part of the beach (above photo). it was a bit cold for swimming. at dusk, we saw some (eastern grey) kangaroos a little bit inland.

we saw a lot of beaches on this trip. we also went hiking in eungella national park and saw a platypus or 5. they look like little logs floating along, stick their bills up in the air, then dive underwater with a little plip. we didn't have a zoom lens, and our photos aren't clear.

perhaps i might as well mention that gk and i have often looked for new places to have sex, especially on holiday. i've never been all that fond of beds, or the same old scenery, all the time. i think it's completely natural to want to have sex in a beautiful place. we've also had sex on planes, at tourist attractions, at a cemetery, in the men's toilet at the shopping centre we most frequently go to, in the car, in the forest, give me a while, i'll probably remember more. oh yeah, we've had sex on the balcony that wraps around the house and we've had sex on the outdoor table in the garden. once we were on a cycling path and fooled around just off the path because no one seemed to be around. a man saw us, and sort of smiled at us. gk didn't think he'd be into public sex. he thought he'd be too shy. i guess i don't really care if we get caught. i've just spent so many years unable to go outside, pining for unusual surroundings. in a way, i think it makes sense that i'd want to have sex in these places, as a way of trying to hold onto them, make them more real to me, even though these efforts prove to be futile.
