Crucifixes

I admit that these are a pretty glaring inconsistency. On my obxesceion site, there are a few photos (taken from ages 27-28) in which I am wearing crucifixes. In a way, wearing them was a kind of anti-religion statement, but I don't think it made a lot of sense. It did represent a recurring obsession over the years with a person whose name begins with the letter 'T'. However, it also has to do with wearing black and silver jewelry - it was a way of trying to get closer to a kind of 'dark' look. I did eventually realize that it was a bad idea to think I could represent a private association with something that immediately broadcasts a very particular message to most people.
