cape du couedic lighthouse
while at cape du couedic, we stayed in this old lighthouse keeper's cottage.
the weather changes on kangaroo island were quite striking. the first day was sunny, but unbelievably windy. the second day was fairly calm and moderate, but the car we were using broke down and we spent most of the day waiting at the side of the road for the tow truck (it's a long story). then there was a lot of rain and fog..
there were interesting caves near here. in one we saw a penguin. camera flashes disturb penguins, and we also did not want to disturb it with our flashlight.. gk filmed it in super night mode on the video camera, and it looks very cute, but a little blurred.
