the possum still visits a lot. it's a she. possums in captivity are fed a variety of fruits and vegetables. they naturally eat leaves and fruits and other things i've currently forgotten. she seems to like bananas, tomatoes and grapes best, but will eat carrots and a few other things. she gets bored with carrots fast, and lets them drop. she licked a slice of kiwifruit, and started nibbling at it, but seemed to become bored and she dropped it. with grapes: i place one directly into her mouth, she sinks her teeth in until she has a grip, and then puts her hands on either side of the grape and eats it like a person might eat a hamburger.
she seems to become the happiest or most excited when she sees i have either pasta with tomato sauce or gingerbread. often she shows up when she smells that i am cooking pasta. i think it might be the smell of the garlic that attracts her. at least she doesn't seem to be put off by garlic.
gk made more gingerbread for her (me), plus extra dough for freezing.
she never lets gingerbread or pasta drop.
possums are marsupials, and females carry their young in a pouch. i have read that if they trust you, they will let you see a baby. i am sort of wondering if one day she will have one.

i am not going to update anything related to gk until i am ready.
